LaForet Camps & Retreats
La Foret Conference and Retreat Center
Join us for camp or a retreat in one of our favorite places –
La Foret Conference and Retreat Center in the Black Forest! Choose from community camp, womens’ retreats, every summer to special retreats for youth of all ages!
Located on 400+ wooded acres north of Colorado Springs, La Foret offers inspiring scenery in a peaceful, private setting. A cluster of cabins provides meeting, dining and sleeping facilities for groups large or small.
La Foret is beloved by our church; it’s the perfect place to grow friendships, recharge spiritually, and lean into your appreciation of God’s creation and community.
Community Camp
First Plymouth Community Camp is a full week of activities and fellowship, and a wonderful way to get to know the people at First Plymouth. Whether you’re alone, with a partner, or a family, everyone is welcome.
In this beautiful setting, you will have a memorable week sharing in the spirit and community of La Foret.
You can be as busy or as unscheduled as you like: visit with friends new and old, play games, walk through the woods, attend classes or just get away from it all. First Plymouth Community Camp is held the last full week of July each year.
Watch for sign up information in the semi-weekly church emails and monthly newsletter.

Women’s Retreat
The Women’s Retreat takes place the third weekend in September. Open to members and non-members, it has become a favorite annual event for many women.
You’ll make new friends and deepen old friendships in this beautiful setting in the woods. Lay-led with a different team each year, there is always a schedule of activities and crafts that fosters connections, spirituality, and relaxation.
You are welcome just as you are to make some women-only memories of your own.
Youth Camps
MADD Camp (Music, Arts, Dance, and Drama)
This popular camp invites youth to get in touch with God through the arts and creative expression. Artistic skill of any level is welcome at MADD Camp. Along with engaging youth in intellectual faith conversations, the camp attempts to get them out of their heads and into experiencing the transcendent through creativity, nature, friendships, self-discovery, games, activities, and lots of fun.
These moments tend to be the most powerful in helping young people to develop a lifelong faith, and a foundation of belief in themselves.
