Rent Our Spaces

First Plymouth is Available to Rent for Your Special Event - Weddings, Meetings, Concerts and More

First Plymouth, located near central Denver (I-25 and Hampden), is ideally situated to hold almost any type of special gathering or business event convenient to the greater Metro Area.  Various spaces of multiple sizes are available to rent, including the Sanctuary, Plymouth Hall and the Chapel. Also available are classrooms and smaller office spaces.. A variety of events such as large weddings plus receptions, small business meetings, keynote speeches with breakout sessions, musical performances, or continuing education classes -- all are able to be held in one of First Plymouth’s many versatile meeting and event spaces.  

All meetings or events at the church (for both internal and external groups) must be scheduled in advance with the church office. Our sanctuary can be arranged in several different formations from classroom style to in-the-round, according to your preferences.  It is available for weddings, lectures, musical performances, or other larger events.

  • Damage Deposit: $50.00, $100 for groups over 100 people
  • Piano: Free with rental of sanctuary, but please inform the office if you plan to use it.  
  • Organ: Free with rental of sanctuary, but please inform the office if you plan to use it. 
  • Accessibility: Accessible via ramp to the front entrance of the church.
  • Other: AV equipment is available, including soundboard, projector, and screen.
  • Sound Tech: $25.00/hour is required if using the soundboard for PowerPoints, DVDs, microphones, etc.

Plymouth Hall

A perfect venue for Wedding Receptions, large assemblies, lectures or keynote luncheon or dinner events.  Plymouth Hall also opens onto an outdoor Courtyard and covered breezeway which can accomodate tables for extra outdoor seating.  Perfect for an outdoor wedding and accompanying reception.

  • Seating: 300 people without tables, 200 people with tables
  • Hourly Fee: $50/hour
  • Damage Deposit: $100.00, $200 for groups over 100 people
  • Other: A floating stage can be assembled at the East end of the Hall.  A sound system and lighting are also available. AV equipment is available, including soundboard, projector, and screen.
  • Accessibility: Accessible via ramp to the front entrance of the church.
  • Kitchen Use/Access: Free with rental of Plymouth Hall, but please let us know if you plan on using it.

The Commons Room

A smaller, more intimate venue for meetings and presentations.  A kitchen is located on one end of the room and tables can be arranged for smaller luncheons or dinners.

  • Hourly Fee: $25/hour
  • Damage Deposit: $50.00
  • Other: AV equipment and screen available with rental.
  • Accessibility: Accessible via the ramp on the south side of the church.
  • Kitchen Use/Access: Free with rental of South Parlor, but please let office know if you plan to use it.


A smaller, more intimate setting perfect for smaller weddings, memorial services or musical events.

  • Seating: 75 people
  • Hourly Fee: $25/hour
  • Accessibility: Accessible via ramp at front entrance of church.

The Odeon

A space with raised theater style seating for musical performances, or choral or instrumental instruction.  Piano included in rental.

  • Accessibility: Accessible via front entrance of the church and then elevator to lower level.  Also accessible from ramp at west entrance of church directly to lower level. 

Second Floor Classrooms and Offices

Multiple spaces of varying sizes are available on First Plymouth’s Second Floor Shared Work Spaces and Learning Area, from a larger classroom space which can seat up to 35 people, to smaller offices perfect for a professional business appointment or meeting. Contact our front office for sizing, pricing and availability. Accessible via front (south) or west entrances of the church and then elevator to upper level. 

General Policies

All organizations renting space must complete a Facility Use Agreement and provide a certificate of liability insurance. 

Room Configuration Options

Most gathering spaces at First Plymouth can be configured in many ways to facilitate your meeting, class, retreat or event. Some possibilities are theater style, boardroom seating, round-table seating, circle, horseshoe seating, comfortable or information seating arrangements


​The hours available to rent are from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. If you need extended hours, your request will be subject to approval and a fee of $15/hour will be assessed.

Cleaning Fee

We charge a cleanup fee of $25.00 or $50.00 if attendance is over 100 people.

Furnishings and Setup

We offer at no charge the use of our tables and chairs, but do charge a setup fee of $25.00 if a specific setup is needed.
Tables: 20 (6ft) rectangular tables, 15 (5ft) round tables
Chairs: 150 tan/beige cushioned chairs (new), 50 green cushioned folding chairs (old)
Linens/Tableware: We do not rent linens or tableware (plates, cups, silverware, etc). All of these items must be brought in by  the renter. Please remember “everything you bring in, we ask that you take out”. 


We allow guests renting our spaces to have access to our wi-fi network, but please note that in our old building, sometimes the wi-fi signal is not strong. Fellowship Hall cannot access any wi-fi signal. 

No Alcohol, Smoking, or Marijuana

Absolutely NO alcohol is allowed on the premises including the outside property (courtyard, grounds, parking lot, etc.). Smoking of cigarettes is permitted on the sidewalk, but we ask that you dispose of your trash in a proper manner. Smoking/digesting of marijuana is prohibited. 

No Candles, Smoke Machines, or Fires

Absolutely no candles except in the sanctuary, in which case the candles must be dripless. Absolutely no smoke machines. Fires are not allowed in the fireplace in the South Parlor or anywhere on the property.


Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the Plymouth Hall, the Commons Room and in Classrooms.  Food and beverages are not permitted in either the Sanctuary or the Chapel. We do ask that your group clean up and dispose of all trash. “Everything you bring in, you take back out”.  Our cleanup fee includes trash bag disposal. 

Other Rules and Contingencies

First Plymouth Congregational Church, UCC, is a welcome and inclusive community of faith, accepting of all people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, religious affiliation, class, age, dress or sexual orientation.  Whoever you are, wherever you are in your life, you are welcome here. We ask all parties who rent our spaces to be open to all. 

We have multiple uses in our building including our Sunday worship, First Plymouth Learning Center preschool, and multiple tenants who have offices in the building. We ask all of our renters to be courteous and respectful. We ask that you remain in the rented space and do not wander through the building.


We have an on-site parking lot with plenty of parking for your group.  Please be respectful of our neighbors and cognizant of the “No Parking” signs.
