FP Women’s Luncheon

First Plymouth Church » Community Events » FP Women’s Luncheon

Enjoy our first fall gathering of First Plymouth friends, old and new, on Saturday, October 17. Come to the Women’s Luncheon from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM for a time of sharing and a meal of loaded baked potatoes, either beef or veggie, with a variety of toppings, fresh fruit and green salads and dessert.

Our speaker is Karli Rose, Adult Education Coordinator at Denver Audubon who has taught at the Butterfly Pavilion and now teaches at Audubon. Karli is a lifelong environmentalist dedicated to connecting learners of all ages to nature. She will discuss ways birds are essential to our ecosystem and the impact of global warming on their survival as well as Denver Audubon programs that promote habitat restoration, community science, and environmental education. Hear about Denver Audubon’s vision to transform Denver into the most bird friendly city in the U.S., check out taxidermy bird specimens up close, and learn how to use the Merlin app to become a community bird scientist.

RSVP by Thursday, October 15 at noon by using this RSVP & Sign-Up form, which allows you to order and pre-pay for your meal, and to sign-up to volunteer! If you prefer paying with cash or check at the Welcome table on October 17, continue to the credit card information form page.
