Black History Tour: February 23
On Sunday, February 23, from 1:00P – 3:00P experience “Five Points: Then and Now,” an interactive glimpse of Denver’s Black history on a walk through Five Points, one of Denver’s oldest neighborhoods. Meet at TeaLee’s Tea House at 611 22nd Street (street parking is plentiful and free on Sundays) and watch a presentation on the practice known as redlining which enforced segregation in Five Points. A guided 1-mile walk follows, which explores the neighborhood’s rich history. Back at TeaLee’s, partake of tea and pastry in TeaLee’s basement bookstore and engage in discussion. Register online.
